Hey Greek, sorry to hear the news!

If Cream escaped, she might be nearby! The key is to look everywhere and under everything repeatedly. Here are some tips,

Good luck!

I lost one of my turtles once, I had them in an outside pond. I checked my yard and the surrounding yards for a week. The damn thing finally came back 2 weeks later on its own.

Be sure and put out a bowl of water so if she finds her way back she can rehydrate.

Wet the area nearby, if she's around, the water/moisture might bring her out.

I remember the first summer Spot was outside in a pond, when I'd let him loose to walk around, he'd sometimes try to burrow under the pond. You might check to see if any ground has been disturbed around the edge of the pond.

If she's anywhere nearby, she's probably burrowed down to keep cool. If possible, keep the area wet down. She'd be more apt to be moving around in the early morning or late afternoon when it's a bit cooler (a bit better chance of finding her then).

Good luck.
