I've never seen Reptisafe at Walmart, but you can get it at Petsmart and Petco.

Don't use distilled water, regular tap water is fine, and if it's been treated with chlorine/chloramine, Reptisafe is one good option for eliminating these chemicals.

Do you have a water heater to keep the temp constant? With cooler weather coming, it would be good for your turtle to have one.

How often do you change the water? Is your turtle in a room with AC?

No, I don't have a water heater. It was fine this month, but I guess I'll need it now since winter's on it's way. How much is one, usually? I really hope it's not that expensive, as I'm not given allowance and my summer job ended just last week. I change the water every other day. And no, my turtle's not in a room with AC.
