Do I need to visit the vet in order to get a prescription for Silver Sulfadiazine?

In the US you do... I think Canada would be the same. If you have a regular vet you see, you might be able to ask them.

Okay I'll bring them to the vet because I don't see any improvement with their shell.

It looks like fungus. The shell doesn't look like it's in great condition, allowing the fungus to thrive.
