That's great news! That's really nice that your mother has been helping you out with your turtles now. Perhaps now that they've seen how important the turtles are to you they will begin to like them more too.

Yeah, but Emmie's still not eating... after three days after the vet visit! Why won't she eat?

What did the vet say about recovery? When was Emmie suppose to start eating again? What have you tried feeding her since the deworming? Has the other one started eating again?

Do you have the water temp in that new 10 gal. tank ya bought at 80-82deg F?

The other one has been eating, like, 13 pellets 2X a day >-< That crazy little thing....

On the other hand, the other one hasn't eaten yet. I've been feeding them Tetra ReptoMin Baby pellets. I've put some rosy red minnows from PetSmart in the tank. The healthy one went after them, but only nipped at their tails. He can't catch them, but it's a little bit funny to watch. The other one ignores them...

We put in peices of apple, lettuice, carrot, and (for Pete's sake!) even a little pineapple.

Hm, sounds like the first one is eating enough for 4-6 turtles! lol. No matter how much they want, you should only feed them the amount of pellets that would fit inside their head if their head were hollow, once a day. My 2" turtles only get about 3-5 reptomin baby pellets per day.

Overfeeding can cause some really major health problems. Turtles will continue eating as long a you keep feeding, and they will beg for food when you stop. They just don't know better. It's good you're offering veggies too!

Back to the one that is not eating....Have you tried anything like mealworms or earthworms? That was the first thing I got my baby turtles to eat when I got them. They likely will not eat the veggies until they're already eating other stuff. Babies are mostly carnivorous. Mine, for some reason, show no interest in the fish in the tank, but they LOVE their worms.

Maybe emmie isnt eating because of all the ruckus thats going on, think about it..the trip to the vet, a new home..it can be pretty stressfull on the little guy. I would leave emmie alone, and not handle him unless it is absolutely neccesary. Cover the tank with something if you must.

You can try to dip the pellets in something smelly like tuna, or cat food and try offering it to him. If not, you can try a live worm, like RunninWideOpen suggested

Also, overfeeding is bad and can cause permenant health damage. When my guys were that little (around an inch) I only fed them two Reptomin sticks a day, now they get 4 (they are 3 inches now) and i also started feeding them every other day.
