good luck with your baby turtle,before you know it the little buggers gonna grow enourmous.they take alot of care,commitment,money etc but are tottally worth it!

getting 10 gallon do you feel it up to the top ? would you happen to hve a picture of our turtle tank so i know what you are talking abou t?

if you have a ten gallon tank,you can put about 8 gallons in theyre.not to the top because they are excellent escape artists,if you have any questions just ask away im here

how do you know what pellets to get?i just notice theres ton of them ? and snacks?

well id say reptomin are probably the best they have reptomin baby food especially made for baby red ear sliders it has alot of nuitrition.for treats you can give him,worms..shrimp,or even live food such as guppies,rosy red minnows,ghost shrimp.

lettuce is important too,very important especialy when he grows into an adult,dont feed him iceberg lettuce though it has no nuitritional value for him.green leaf,red leaf and romaine lettuce are good,carrots are good as well.
and you can give him cuttle bone,you can find it in the bird section

sorry but from womans view that is just gross watching live eating live lol but i know that is normal i think i will let hubby do that one lol

you dont have to feed him live food,its up to you realy.you can buy shrimp that are already dead of course and feed it to him,you can get him freeze dried crickets too(already dead)

now on the sheet it said after six months to feed him those things is it safe to feed it to him now? he already had lettuce and he went crazy eating it but the pellets he doesnt eat them think maybe those are wrong pellets they arent in a container she has them in a bag

throw away the sheet,its useless. you can buy feeder guppies(10 for 99 cents) and put them in his tank he will chase them and catch them and eat them,maybe he just doesnt like those pellets.some red ear sliders are picky about what they eat lol
