Urgent Care :: why wont one of my turtles go in the watter at all !

Turtles can become expensive to keep. If they are not in proper conditions, then their chances of getting sick and developing poorly greatly increases. You need to put money into the supplies, the time into cleaning and when necessary, money for veterinary care.

i all ready have every thing for the tank and i called the zoo and they said it sounds like there are in good care sence i got them frome the mall and she said she thinks it is some knid of infecshion or some thing

Some of the symptoms could be related to respiratory infections. That is very serious illness and a vet needs to check them out.

yeaaaaaaaay he is going to the vet to day and it will onley will cost us 35 $$
so to day i get to see what is wrong with spekles :D :D :D :? :? :? :o :o

well to day we went to the vet and they said it is most likley RI so they said there was not much they can do because he is so small so they gave me some eye drops to put in his mouth wich i thot was weard :? and said i hope this works and they said that they will pray for me and call me every day for one week to see how s/he is doing so pry for me :? :? 8) 8)

Eye drops to put in his mouth? Are you sure that's what they said? What is the name of the eye drops?

the name is Gentamicin Sulfate Ophthalmic Solution. the brand's name is apexa. and the vet we went to is Dr. James from Banfield pet hospital.

There are also oral antibiotics... what kind of vet did you see?

This doesn't sound right at all. Opthamalic drops are for eyes only and usually not to be taken internally. I'd call the vet again just to make sure of what they said to do. I'd not give the drops to my turtle until I checked again.

i did ask them to show me how to give it to s/he and i saw them put the drops in his mouth and my mom saw it to so what do i do they said put the drops in his mouth and hopefuly it will help they said they cant give him pils or any thing because he is so small :? :? :? :? :?

they also said we could put them on his eyes or in his mouth cause it was weak enough to do that.
