i'm on a peace assignment in one of the southern provinces in the philippines. there's no mobile signal here, no TVs, there's not even a zoo here, let alone a herp vet. it's wonderful and beautiful here actually, the landscape and the flora and fauna are amazing, the beaches are the whitest and the sea the clearest and bluest, but technology is sadly (yet wonderfully) lacking here.
i would have to go north to get to a general vet but they don't allow turtles into airplanes until it's been quarantined for at least 3 months. but that's too long for my turtle to wait!
