I know... it's hard not to, when they're so small and helpless (albeit, back to feisty already...lol). Good turtle thoughts!

I'm not completely sure, but maybe you should make sure they stay hydrated by sprinkling some water on them (the tank water)

If you're doing regular water changes, I wouldn't worry about it now.

I know - it's barely Friday! But how are the turts? What did the vet say?

Hi scripta. I'm sorry to read that your turts are sick. I hope everything clears up and they get back to being healthy. Much compassion and hope being sent your way.

The vet said that they have improved, and was happy to see all were still with us (we beat the odds). We are going back in 2 weeks, which he thinks will be enough time for them to recover. All three had their last shot today. Thanks for everyone's concern and kind words! Nicole

I am. They aren't quite out of the woods, but at least they've made it through the dark and scary part. Now I am going to have to coerce them into eating. Tuna juice here I come!

If taking it easy involves scrubbing the bejesus out of their tank, and convincing family members that we aren't covering something far graver by telling them we are home with sick turtles, then whoopee! Let the good times roll!

I love this vet, and I will keep everyone posted. This vet isn't on the herp vet list, and he really should be. I think I will also play with a cute human baby I haven't seen in a couple weeks, my cute nephew.
