wow, thats really got to be hard. I'm so sorry about your loss. i know how attached i am to my little guys and it would be hard on any one of us, i think.

I'm so sorry to hear this! :( I know what it's like to lose one, and having to make a decision like that must have been really tough. I'm sorry for your loss...

She ate 2 small nails that were stuck in her stomach. They must have come out of her log when she bit at it or something. When the vet saw it, he said that they were stuck and would probably pierce her stomach or rust and get infected. When you build things for your turtle enclosure make sure to build them safely. I have certainly learned a valuable and sad lesson.

I'm just so sorry. If it's at any consolation at all, perhaps reading about what happened will help prevent another turtle from suffering the same fate. :(
