I am so sorry and the little guy's grave looks nice. You did a great job. I was going to say what Moose said. It wasn't your fault; things happen. You can second guess yourself and say "If only" forever but don't. We had a pet rabbit die this year under tragic circumstances but no one was to blame although I felt responsible. It took a while and lots of talking to other people about it before I felt good again.
