If you are already familiar with pumps why don't you make your own filter? Also, if you go the ebay route, use the gallons per hour method, and realize that the numbers most manufacturers quote are based on ideal conditions with no media, so divide their numbers by 2. Use the resulting number to figure out if it will will filter your water at leas 2-3 times per hour, more is better, my FX5 does between 6 and 10 times per hour on my 75 gallon tank.
