Try cutting back and only feeding her small amounts of carrot a few times a week. Have you offered her fresh basil? It's a great favorite of many turtles, including mine, who would eat no other veggie for the first few years of his life.

The shots were for the loose stool or something different? Do you know what exactly they were?

Marisa>> I took her to the vet months ago because she had loose poop and then the vet said she was infected with cocsidia, but she had drunk antibiotics and cured. and then the vet still gave her shots for infection in her intestine. after that she was cured!! she had solid poop for many months...but sudenly, I don't why, she started having loose poop again.

spotsmama>> well the problem is...no one knows basil here!! and I don't know the Indonesian word for basil either. Kame is already 2years old but still hates veggie....she loves papaya, is it okay if she only eats papaya??
I'll try cutting back carrots for her.

Is it possible your turtle is reinfected?

To double in size in 3 months seems a bit much. What other foods is she eating?

To feed only papaya isn't good either, and may be contributing to the loose stools. Try different foods for variety.

I don't know...maybe!!

she'll eat anything meaty...I mean she is a total carnivore!! she loves chicken (cooked), criket, small fish, shrimp, and Laron (I don't its name in English). other than meat is pellet. I've tried giving her nothing but veggie and ended up seeing her fasting, she prefer not to eat at all than eat veggie...and it broke my heart.

maybe you should wash and cook the carrotts before you feed them to get rid of bactieria.

Yup, same thing happened with my turt. She ate a LOT of lettuce and a few poops were runny. Take away some lettuce and now she is back to normal.

An update on this. I stopped giving my turtle lettuce and the diarrhea stopped. But the poop was still not solid and there was completely undiggested lettuce in it. I was trying to stop my turtle from eating its poop but sometimes i didnt have time to stand over the tank and wait or i wasnt fast enough. This resulted to having COMPLETELY(I cant stress this enough like it was made from plastic or something) undiggested letuce circling inside its system for weeks. I think i have finally managed to remove all the lettuce since i cant see leaves of lettuce anymore but the poop isnt solid at all. The only thing it is eating since all this this story started is reptomin pellets.
This has happened one more time but it had eaten a tiny amount of lettuce and the poop wasnt solid for only a week
