Im so sorry your turtle died.... hearing this story makes me want to cry!
you have to be careful when people are around your turtle!!!!! I let my neighbor hold my turtle and he flipped it upside down and started to shake it!
And I yelled at him for that.. Now im careful who I let hold my turtles or if I even let anyone hold them!!!!
I hope anyone who hears this story thinks twice before letting a drunk person near their turtle I WILL! Soooo sad about your turtle!

i know im a bit late on the reply here, but please dont let that person near any more turtles or any other animals. threaten to do the same to her see how she feels, then claim you dont remember. poor thing.. cant even imagine how or why she would've done that
