Did you go to the vet or just call? A qualified vet will request that you bring her in.

(sorry for the repost)...... I would put her somewhere warm, with blankets or something for her to hide in (like a rubbermaid container).

well my pc drawer i usually keep her in there to soak off and get soem sunlight. its pretty warm in my room but the breeze is facing the window so it gets really cool at night

Wait, I'm confused. How did she start bleeding? Did she fall? Or did she just start bleeding?

Did you see a vet? If the vet said she will be okay, that's the best you can ask for. IMO, I would apply some gauze to the wound and keep her dry until the bleeding stops. Then I would put on some antibiotic (like Neosporin) and allow it to fully dry. Then I would put her back in the water.

Can you go through the details of her getting hurt?

ok let me say this again

i had her in my hand. she didnt fall but her back left leg snagged on the side of her shell and you know when the shell starts to shed, she clinged her nail on it and it peeled some of it. when i noticed it being red i checked and it was small bleeding. the scar is healing up and ill keep her out for a little longer out of the water but my dad might be frustrated about this. i know she will be fine i called a few minutes ago

How long did the vet say to keep her out of the water?

1. she injured her shell from using her left hind leg and clinging onto her side of the shell and it peeled off

2.its a small scar but theres a piece of the shell broken but its not really big

3.she said to keep her out for about 3 hours and shell be fine since the scar wasnt too big. now it looks better and its starting to heal and the redness is going away
