well i will post pics of the turtle and the tank i also have a big tank but i need 2 clean it first and i need help finding a plat form

if you can't find a UVB bulb you can let your turtle bask in natural sunlight. You must be careful of the temperature if you do this however, you don't want to cook your turtle! Even if you can't find a UVB bulb for the tank, you still need to set up a dry area in the tank and aim a lightbulb at it to get him to dry off and bask (again, you must monitor the temperature). It's really important for the health of his shell. One thing you really need is a thermometer, it shouldn't be expensive. Temperatures are important when caring for reptiles as they have no way of regulating heat internally like we do. It will be a little tough for you to find some things, i know, but you can work around your supply issues.
