I've heard of people injecting an antibiotic into some really tasty food - like an earthroom or a piece of shrimp - and giving that to the turtle.

It's very tough to treat a hatching. I'm glad you're trying, many people... and some vets wouldn't. Keep in mind that antibiotics have a tendency to suppress appetite. So don't feel guilty if you need to persuade him with a treat like the ones Spotsmama mentioned.

You can soak him a couple of times a day in mixture of 50% Pedialyte and 50% water. Pedialyte is a solution for sick babies. You can get it at places like Walgreens. Sometimes this helps the turtle feel better.

Are you managing to get some of the Ensure and Cipro down him?

yeha i hve he seams to be alittle better hes on his way to recovery
im glad i would have been devistated if he would have died
but he likes the ensure he wont mind eating that but he hates the anti biotics so i give him a drop of ensure then trick him and make him think the next drop is ensure but i give him the meds he gets grumpy after words for a few seconds but will gladly take a few more drops of ensure after that lol
