Today i was cleaning the tank, and i placed my 3 turtles into the sink and filled abit of water there. I started cleaning, i opened abit of the windows and i turned on the fan thing in the washroom (my tank is in the unused washroom).
While i was cleaning i heard this noise. It was... like a sniff or something. I ignored it, but then later i heard it again. I examined my turtle, and i noticed it was comming from one of my turtles. I suppose it may be RI.

What should i do? Do you suppose to was because of the window i opened? There were light breezes while i was cleaning the tank. Ive never heard ANY of the turtles at all make any wheezing noises before. Maybe it was because im not around them much, but this is the first time I heard it.

Do you think the wheezing noise was just temporary?
If not what should i do?

Thanks

well. if thats the only symptom, i wouldnt worry too much. mine makes a kind of whistling noise sometimes. maybe thats what youre hearing.
but if you start seeing other symptoms, or suspect something may be wrong, i'd say go to a vet.

It may be nothing, but keep an eye on them anyway. I've heard that turts will cough or sneeze occasionally, but if it is happening often, or you hear clicking or popping sounds, or excessive yawning or open mouth breathing, it may be time to go to a vet....

oh good oh good. im glad its nothing wrong =) .. i hope. i got myself over-worried there  For now i dont see anything else, but im going to keep watch.. just in case. Thx for answering by the way :D

..do you think its because of the opened window? If it makes that noise is it bad for the turtle or anything? it kills me to hear that noise =/ If its the window, then im not opening that window again =S

Drafts are not good. Keep the tank away from any drafts....

A draft can also cause an RI.
