yay round 2 i get him fed i call the vet and they said use a credit card or like blockbuster card and it work. poor Squirtle is mad at me now lol

Well as long as he's getting it down! I assume you've removed all the gravel and you're keeping an eye out so you can remove it as he passes it....

i took it out like friday when i found out i wasnt suppose to online right now hes in plastic ben thingy thats like i think 15gallons im not sure it says 55L on it i know its small for him but i think it'd work for now

Is that what he was in before? What is the permanent setup like?

hes was in a 20gallon ._.;; i know its too tiny i havent bought my new tank yet im trying to get money to get their new tank. but im not sure do i just go straight for 120 or do i go 80?

The tank setup it is a 20gallon,ReptoFilter on the left,Repto Heater on the left submersible,UVA lamp on the right side(UVB is arriving in mail tomorrow), basking zoo med dock kinda towards the middle above the heater.

Are you worried about his swimming ability? I'm just wondering why they're separated (as it's not a contagious situation)

If it were me, I'd go right to 125 or 150 so it'd be the last purchase

I'd take him back to the vet, let them give him the meds and watch how they do it so you know how to next time. Ask for tips in case you have problems.

jenaero- they're separated under the doc's order and like Squirtle has little bit of pneumonia. the vet says it could be from all the stress. which ones better 125 or 150? i thinkin imma go for 150.

marisa- i called the vet and gave me some tips i might go to the vet and see how they do it again.

I'd go with the tank that has more surface area (is longer and wider) if the 25-gallon difference between them is because one tank is significantly higher.

i didnt name him my sisters named him and gave him to me lol

pretty much the easiest way ive found to give my turtles liquid meds is i had my dad hold the syringe, and i pryed the mouth open at the tip of the beak with a dull needle and i slipped the needle down the beak horizontally so it held down the tounge too. then my dad would squeeze out the meds and all done.

Rather than a needle, a toothpick might work a little better (and be even less sharp).
