Well, my turtle doesn't look much better. He is still not eating. I am just about finished with the meds. -oxytetracycline for 50 mgs for 7 days. He is still listless and not eating. He does appear to be making the mouth motions a little less. SHould I go back to the vet? Maybe the meds did not work?

Yes, do a follow-up with the vet. Did he say what the problem is?

The follow-up visit shouldn't be as expensive. Go up to him/her and say I paid you and look, it didn't work.

Yeah I called already to set a follow up appointment. He has an RI. I just wonder how good my vet is at turtle problems.

I think it's important to find one that is very experienced with aquatic turtles. Some vets only have passing information, some know even less than that.
