Should i put her in the tank to sleep, or leave her in the container w/ no water all day and all night??

ok, is there some reason why you should be dry docking her? I saw your other post but no where did you say that the vet said to dry dock her. If you've not been advised to do it, I wouldn't.. I took this from another post regarding dry docking

marisa wrote:Dry docking/dry tanking is usually recommended as part of a treatment plan to combat conditions such as shell rot and fungus, as well as when air is needed to help a wound heal. It is, however, stressful for a turtle and is really best done after consultation with a vet. If your turtle is basking under proper lighting and your turtle's shell is hard and healthy looking, you really needn't consider forcing your turtle to bask.

Im doing eye drops and the med always washes out when i put her in the water... One of her eyes is swollen/closed at times... So yeah... Ill just do it for an hour or two after the drops then put her back in then. Grey goose said it helped his turt so i thought id try it.

I dry docked them because I couldn't see how the eye drops would be effective if you put them back in the water right away.
But I was dry docking three turts at the same time. I used a rubber maid container (document size) with one half covered, and one half exposed to a small desk lamp set up so the bottom surface was warmed to about 85F. Watch the temp closely! Don't let it get too hot. I also lined the bottom with shredded newspaper and some old cotton t-shirts.
Big Daddy, who had the worst eyes, was kept in the container the longest, at the beginning, 3 hours, then after that, 1/2 hour less each day. He is a very mellow turt, so anxiety was not a factor. Gomez was a little stressed at first but would settle down and just hide in the corner. The most time he spent was just under an hour, again tapering off each day.
Beaker, on the other hand is normally very skittish, so I would only give him about 20 minutes......

Also make sure there are no drafts where you set up the container.

I guess you could say that I do a mini-version of dry-docking with Sheba periodically since I let her out to walk around my living room/bathroom/kitchen for up to 8 hours at a time, especially when I am home on weekends. She *loves* it, and just walks round and round and round. It gets her shell really dry which is good for her, especially when her shell is peeling. Plus, I use that time to spend some time with her & play with her a bit. She likes to climb on me & follow me around.
