Frankly, Muirner, she looks like a sick little girl to me. I can't remember, has she been to the vet?

no, every time we mention the word vet, she seems to recoop. That's what i'm thinking too, i feel horrible and guilty. Like idk, i'm off to see if i can get her to the vet asap.

Isn't that always the way. Probably when you get her to the vet, she'll perk up and the vet will tell you everything's fine! But I really think that with everything that's been going on, something's not right. I hope it's not too serious.

Thanks spots!, i'm gonna bump the temp another degree or two, and hopefully that'll keep her at least no worse then she is. 2:40 on wed, i have an appt with the vet.

I have read that letting an RES soak in gatoraid or baby (something you give when sick) will help give nutrience... ideas here?

Marisa has on occasion recommended putting a turtle in pedialyte mixed 50% with water..

here is a thread which contains that information.

Ok, i'm going out tonight to get it, and i'll soak her tomorow. Any idea how long? or how often i should do this? I'm going to have the pedialyte at about the same temperature as the water. Any idea how deep it should be? I know normally you cover the turtles head, but this is different, she just sinks to the bottom, and dosent seem to wanna move. I'm thinking enough to submirge her, but not so much to completly cover her. I will be standing by watching her the whole time.
