Also, try to get him eating right away. Smelly items like tuna fish, meal worms, and other live prey like guppies and earthworms are worth a try. In the last pic, the other RES looks much bigger. You might have to keep them separate until everything has normalized.

You also could try a little plain cod liver oil on those lids in case he has a Vit A deficiency. Apply it with a q-tip once or twice a day for several days. It should help if he has a Vit A deficiency. If it doesn't, a vet visit would be good. An update on his condition would be nice to hear.
