I was looking at some RES in this website when My Slider Peanut suddenly started splashing all over the place bumping into rocks and stuff!!! Then I noticed that a something black was sticking out of his tail, I'm pretty sure that it was his penis. When I took him out he was a bit calm. I put him back into the water and the black thing went back inside his tail.

Could be a penile prolapse, but all the commotion tells me he may have eaten something he shouldn't have, and is having trouble passing it. Keep a close eye on him.

I swear, I didn't feed him anything that he shouldn't have ate. But Peanut is tucking his tail in for most of the time now. Note that Peanut was swimming on some pebbles when this happened.

How small are these pebbles? Small enough for peanut to swallow?

The pebbles are too big for
Peanut to swallow. I was thinking if my Peanut's tail got stuck between the pebbles or something. (They are pretty big you know)

Nope won't hurt him. Plus it means he's not plugged up.

If Peanut's tail wasn't clogged up, how could he suddenly go panicky with a proclapse penis???

I read on another site some time ago (don't remember where) that some turtle's intestines may come out during a "tough" bowel movement, sort of like constipation. The intestines are dark colored. The article said that as long as the intestine went back inside, there is nothing to be worried about. Maybe your turtle was having trouble going.
