im not sure if its my turtle or the water heater, but does the wheezing sound a turtle makes sound like a bunch of zzzzzzzs?

turn off the heater for a few min. and see if you can still hear it? weezing is not a good sign!
Sometimes it takes a pet to make us slow down and find the most trivial of things soo damn interesting.

turned out to be teh heater. im not sure why its making a "zzz" sound so im hoping i could replace it by the end of the week.

What brand is it? If it is defective, then stop using it immediately and have the petstore replace it.

mm lol i cant return it because i got the whole tank and fish supplies from some my dad which he found somewhere, so im hoping i could just get a brand new one that is also energy efficient.

Get a good brand at it will last you. VisiTherm, Ebo Jager and Tronic have good reputations.
