Yea when he opens his eyes and notices food, he eats it. Right now, he's just sitting there under water with his eyes closed. But he is eating and moveing alot slower than usual.

Is it ok just to use the oil? Does it have to be the pills?

Will he open his eyes if you dry dock him for a couple of hours?

Well he has been on his dock for about 50 mins and he has his eyes closed, and opens them when i come near. I saw some white crusty stuff surrounding his eye lid just now. What does this mean? When he went into the water, it went away.

I don't want to alarm you, but my turtles were doing the exact same thing, and all three had RI. I would get them to a herp vet asap.

It could be salt/mineral buildup, but that would not cause the closed eyes.

Urgent Care :: Dose s/he have RI?!
