Urgent Care :: Pink Skin?

Okay, today I noticed she is kind of pink at the base of her front legs, right where her legs join the shell. She is also moving her right front leg like she is swating a fly.

Could she be trying to scratch irritated skin? Do turtles itch? Is there anything I could apply to the affected skin to help her?

Could it be a fungus? I don't know much about this topic, but it was a thought that came to mind, since it's the skin.

Any changes in the water that could cause irritated skin? Or changes in set up?

Is the pink coloring spreading to different areas?

Once again, is the area all one color or is the pink blotchy? Since you said it's near where the legs join the shell, is that area rubbing against the shell at all?

Can you get a good look at the area that's pink? If so, do you see any breaks in the skin?

I would take a really good look at all the skin areas and see if there is even the slightest wound.
