The white spots are still there. When they shed their scutes, is the peeling supposed to be clear? Like a plastic clear sheet? It was peeling, and I saw one white spot underneath the peel, so I scratched it off with my finger. Now the white is gone, instead it's BLACK now. Did I do something wrong? Here's a picture of the two spots BEFORE one was scratched off. And can turtles feel their shells? Does it hurt when you scratch it?

Can you post a pic of what the shell looks like after you scratched the white off? (They can feel through the shell. Depending on how hard you scratched, he could have felt some discomfort.) Did you read my last post?

Yes, I did read your last post. Thank you very much for letting me know. I'm pretty worried right now. Should I have not scratched it off?
