Urgent Care :: Shell and bite wound questions.

Hey everyone. Have some concerns with two of my Turts. one of them is in his own tank due to past aggression problems and his shell is shedding in large pieces at a time. i rarely see him basking. is this a problem and if it is what can i do to help?




Second, This turtle is in with the other two and appears to have bite wounds from the others. I rinsed the spots with clean water and put some neosporin on as soon as i noticed them. is there anything else i can/should do?

The shedding from the first set of pics is OK, but basking would help more. What's his basking area like?

I would probably clean wound areas with some diluted Betadine first, then apply Neosporin. Then dry dock for a few hours. I prefer to do it over night as they sleep, but it can be done during the day if you'd want to.
