If I put my turtle in the sink, while I'm changing his tank, I notice that every so often he'll let out a low whistling nose. (Note: The sink is empty and is under a light, I just do it so he can crawl around a bit so I'm not putting him in any like windex cleaned kitchen sinks or anything that could harm him)

I don't think it's so often that I should worry about it, it was about every 2 minutes or so and he might have like water in his nose or something but I want to be sure. :?

Does anyone know anything?

It could be a hissing noise they make when they don't appreciate being picked up or moved out of their environment.

Also, simple soap residue in a sink can do a lot of harm to a turtle, so be sure it is thoroughly rinsed before him being placed in it.
