Yesterday i went to the pet shop to replace a damaged water heater and i went to check the RES they have there.. to my surprise they where all in terrible condition!
I decided to take four of them before they die there the most young and sick ones...
Three of them have very soft shell and they are very small. they are the same age with the ones i have home but they lack 1cm from diameter and 3 grams of weight .
i give them the pellets with calcium in them and they have a nice basking spot with Heat lamp and UVB light.
I boosted the water heat up to 83F.
Is there anything else i can do?

Turtles that young will have softer shells. If it is a deficiency, the calcium, UVB, and time will.fix it.

Don't be surprised at pet store conditions. As ljapa said… calcium, UVB and time will help.
