Do you mean she didn't eat when out of the water? RES have difficulty swallowing out of water (lack of saliva) so that would be normal. Hopefully she's kicked this fungus thing for good!

I would put her in water a few times a day for about an hour or so. I put food in the water with her, but she refused to eat:( stubborn this one. I would love to feed her out of her normal tank, but am not sure she would eat. She does not like change very much at all.

Most don't like change in environments. Maybe start with treats or pellets.

Priscilla is refusing to bask since I put her back in the tank. While she was dry docked, we took the opportunity to change the tank around. We put in an ATBA and a new canister filter. She is enjoying having more water in the tank and dives deep and comes back up and dives down again. Michael calls it swimming laps:). She is eating again, which she did not do while dry docked when I put her in water and gave her opportunities. But she has not basked. I am still having to bring her out of the tank once a day to apply medicine. I usually leave her dry docked for 30 minutes so the meds will work into shell. Not sure if I should leave her longer and put her under the basking and UVB light after treatment or if I should just give her more time to bask on her own. She was dry docked from Monday afternoon (11/04/13) until Sunday morning (11/10/13). Should I force her to bask or give her more time to adjust?

Ps She should have no problem climbing up the ramp to the basking area. Hananiah and Mishael are able to climb up there. They are just slightly smaller.

Water temp is 78
Basking area 88-90

I'd give it a bit more time. Have you taken the temp of the basking area?

There is a thermometer in the basking area. Usually by 10:00 it is up to 80, by 12:00 it is at 85 and it reaches 90 sometime in the afternoon. The lights are on a timer based on the sunrise and set. My husband rigged a power strip to be controlled by the outside light of the sun.

Did you put the ointment on the problem areas only, or all over her shell? Just wanna know. Thanks!

I mostly put it in the problems areas and extended out some. By the time I took her to the vet, the top of her shell no longer had any white on it, so I just put it where I remembered the white being. Concentrating of the areas between. The bottom part I put it on the areas close to her left front foot and went down to her back foot along the shell. Making sure to get along the side of her shell.
