Urgent Care :: Some advice on my Turtles Shell please

My turtle is shedding her scutes, how long is the shedding period, and when shedding, should the scutes that are shedding look a translucent/light brown colour?

how old is your turtle...my big turtle is shedding his shell its takes a while

Sounds normal to me. Shedding can take a month in my case. Can you post some pictures?

She's about 5 years old. this has been happening for teh last few weeks, so ill keep my eye on it.
