so tiny is a male about 5-6 in I've had them for almost a year and I'm not sure how old he is. I noticed there was something that looked like a worm coming out of his neck, so I took him out of the tank and took a closer look. It's not visible until he extends his neck all the way out, but it looks and feels like a claw.it's on his underside and it's growing the same way as his limb claws ( like a hook aiming down). I tried pulling it out gently and that's when I felt the sharpness and thickness of it- It also looks like it has a "quick" just like dog claws- anyways, as I was tugging on the claw I knew it wasn't coming out unless I pulled hard, so I just left it alone. Is this unusual growth harmful? He could not possibly Swallow one of his claws and have it protrude out of his neck so perfectly. What do I do??! He is so sweet compared to his roommate ( female about 7 in)
