I have a RES and I've had her for about 5 years, The other day I noticed a sort of pink spot on her shell. Upon further inspection it looks kind of like a chip to me, I'm not sure though. It's not soft to the touch and she doesn't seem to be in any discomfort when I touch it. I also did a once over to make sure their was no other damage and I noticed her skin kind of has a pinkish tint to it, which also doesn't seem normal. Any advice?

Hi, welcome to the forum. I can't tell much from the picture, it looks like the shell is dirty and could use a gently cleaning. I see some old damage, which might have been infections. Did she have a hard time shedding? The pink skin is worrisome - was the arm caught in anything? It might be normal to have a little pink, especially where the skin meets the shell and around the webbing. I think it might be a good idea for vet visit at this point. A close examination would spot anything sooner before any potential condition worsens.
