Yes, it was this evening. I can't say for sure when it happened, but I was gone for 8 hours this PM. I'll have to see how she does the next few days, but I really think she just exhausted herself trying to get free, plus the stress of the incident. We didn't take any radiographs (the only real way to check the lungs) but I may take her back for them depending how she does. I was told the best way to fend off pneumonia was keeping her good and warm, which was my first instinct. I still have a lot to learn about reptile emergencies and critical care, though!
(Like Racer, I hit the trusty turtle boards afterwards to report my experience and see how other turtles had fared! I hope his has improved! I only meant to inquire how Racer's turtle was progressing. Sorry that I seemed to threat hijack a bit. I hope that Racer lets us know if their turtle made it back to the pond!)
