Probably "burmating" which is the reptile version of hibernation. At 80 degrees, he wouldn't be. Have you held the guppies by the tail?

I held the guppies by the tail and he still runs. At a total loss I guess I will just keep up the pedialyte baths and today will be my last day of cod liver oil. One of his eyes looks worse than the other I think I will try shutting off the UVB and switch to regular light worried he might be getting burned. I just hope he is on the mend.

Pedialyte only offers electrolytes, so you might want to take more direct approaches. One would be leaving pellet crumbs in the soaking water and the other would be force feeding. However, you should speak to a vet on the proper way of doing so.

Phil is still holding on even though I haven't seen him eat anything. He seems peppier! By that I mean he has move a bit and holds his head up (not much but I am hopeful). I haven't done the cod liver oil or pedialyte in 24hrs and have since turned off the UVB light. I tried to turn on the UVB this am and he opened his better eye and covered it with his arm so I shut it off. He still has one eye he won't open, it seems pretty blistered. I am not sure if I should give him more cod liver oil or maybe try some saline drops or just leave him be. Any thoughts?

He really needs to eat something. Did you try consulting a vet?
