Urgent Care :: I really don't know whats wrong with my turtle.. Help please

A few days ago, i noticed him making a strange noise. Sounds like a whining / meowing sound. He only does it when I go to lay down or late at night. He does it during the day but not as much. He is basking occasionally but lately all he does is sit on the filter for hours. I continue to feed him but he's hardly eating. His shell and everything looks fine and everything looks normal, but he just makes these loud noises, like he's miserable. His water is all clean and it's heated so it's not too cold. He threw up once yesterday, well that I know of it was once. I check on him through out the night and he's always in the same spot that he was before. His throat gets really big to sometimes when he make that whining sound, not every time that he does it, but it dis that a lot yesterday. He is just really starting to worry me.

Usually, a little noise is nothing to be concerned about. Overweight RES can also make a whining noise, especially when they surface. This includes at night when they are sleeping and breath deeply once in awhile.

Lack of appetite is not a good sign. What's the water temperature? What have you been feeding him?

His water temperature is normal, sometimes it gets cold cause he tries to climb on the heater and knocks it over but I fix it as soon as he does that. And he eats normally. but like right now he's making really loud noises and his mouth is always open when he does it.
