Urgent Care :: Indoor to Outdoor habitat...eye irritation??

We recently moved our 2 male sliders from indoor to outdoor (still in the tank) and recently, i am not sure whats been happening with the filter, but the tank has been getting murky, and a little green. I'm assuming from the algae. And today we noticed our turtles squinting their eyes and rubbing them, and closing them.

I have a feeling that maybe they can't see in the water, and they are having difficulty. I'm not sure but its scaring me. I heard that its good to put real pants in their tank to clean everything but i'm not entirely sure.

How big is the tank and how recent was your last water change? This is a glass tank? A glass tank really shouldn't be used outside as the temperatures can get extremely high. Any setup outside will have problems with algae, so you might want to consider a UV filter to go along with the regular filter.

Why outside if your still using an aquarium. I think you should hold off on moving them outside till you have the nice elaborate outdoor pond setup. Skim the outdoor pond setup forum, lots to learn. Just my opinion. Good luck!
