I was reading the health section and there is a section about Shell rot, can anyone show me what shell rot turtle may like? does it occur in plastron area(belly part)? or scute area?(top part of the body)

And as I understand it, shell rot can occur on both top and bottom thus the need for a basking area that they can completely dry all parts of their shell on.
