Urgent Care :: HELP! Will my turtle be ok?

Just found my baby turtle upside down in the tank. It had only been like that about 20mins cos it was ok when I left the room. I brought it up to the top and took it out, its all floppy but did lift its head and kid of yawn. I put it on the basking rock and its head has gone inside its shell and isn't moving.

Can anyone help? I can't get to a vet.

Thanks - I tried that but no water came out. Hes so limp I got him just before Christmas and he hasn't grown since even tho he does eat. My second turt I got a month or so a go and he was smaller but is now much bigger.

I have a horrible feeling my baby is dead or dying just don't know what to do. There is no vet near by.

Make sure his basking area is 90 to 95 degrees and the water temp is 80 to 82 degrees. The higher temps will help boost his immune system. Is he basking? Watch for symptoms of Respiratory Infection closely. If he shows any symptoms or doesn't start acting normally you'll have to find a vet. You will want to separate the turtles right now. If he does develop RI it is very contagious. Also when he does get better separate them for feeding to make sure the smaller one gets enough to eat. Good luck I hope he makes it.
