Help!!!! my turtle fell 3 feet straight down!!!!!
I came back from school today to find no splashing noise, my turtle usually begs for food like mad, i looked in the tank and realised that my 2inch turtle was gone, then i saw drake trying to climb out of the tank while on the basking dock.
At that moment i quickly searched hgh and low, and finally found my turtle in a corner covered in dust bunnies, he has no visible injuries on him, As soon as i put him in the water, he started begging, and eating, but his bite is really weak, as i usually hand feed, and get lots of bites, i noticed the difference in jaw power, is this something i should be concerned of????

if he is still dazed (at the time of post) move him to shallower waters. It could either be shock from the fall (which will go away in another day or so) or it could be internal injuries. Either of which you do not want to stress the turtles systems more than it should. Shallow, warm waters will help it recover from shock AND keep it comfortable should it have gotten injured.

Pay attention if there is any noticeable movement issues (a limp, weird wobbling during swimming, balance while climbing onto basking area (ie favoring a side: not losing grip and sliding back down as that happens to healthiest of turtles)) Also its eating. If all seems normal then the poor fellow was just shocked and scared (rightly so) and will be fine. If not, I would consider a possible visit to a vet.
