I've had my turtle for over 8 months now and it's been absolutely fine until just now! When i tried to feed it it wouldn't eat, then i thought it's normal it might take a bit of time but just when i started leaving the room it opened its mouth and some indigested food came out (might've been the food from last night!), the poor thing threw up for over 30 seconds and it shivered a bit in the end. I then switched it to another tank whilst i clean the first one, but it's now swimming and climing up and down just like what it used to do. I'd like to take it to the doc but it's now 8PM over here in Hong Kong and i wouldn't be able to do so tomorrow morning as i need to go to work.
Is it gonna be fine for the next 24 hours?
by the way mine's a Chinese Striped-neck Turtle, about a year old now. It's been kept in warm water (around 28 degrees celcius) with a regulator. I've got actually 5 turtles (4 Chinese Striped-neck Turtle, 1 mississippi map turtle) in a 10''x30''x40'' tank with around 5 L of water. They'd been eating off a brand called 'sera raffy baby gran' but we've changed to zoo-med natural aquatic turtle food 3 months ago. We'll feed them twice a day, in the morning and evening, with around half a tea spoon (in total).
help please?
