Hello guys,

I have a baby razorback with Res in a 55 gallon tank for about a month. Since yesterday, I notice my razorback is not swimming at all, he just sit on top of basking dock all day and sleep. He didn't even move at all so, I decided to give him excisice by placing into water and I found out he did some very strange activity that I had to place him back onto the dock. He didn't move for couple mins when I placed into water but he was jumping around in circle in the water like crazy. I am pretty sure that is not normal. Do you guys have any idea what is happening to my turtle and what can I do to help him?

For your info : since the first day that I got him, I don't see him eat anything right in front of me even though food it right next to his mouth. He is very shine and don't do much activity, just walk around at the button of the tank.

Thanks

Try answering these questions so that we have a better understanding of your set up and such viewtopic.php?f=4&t=28711

Based on what little info you have given, I would remove the turtle that is acting strange from the tank. If he is sick, you don't want him passing it to your RES. The 'jumping around in a circle' that you described, was it like he was trying to get out of the water and couldn't? And the swimming in a circle, did it appear that he could only move in a circle? Listing, or swimming in a circle can be a sign of a respritory infection, but I am not sure that I am understanding you correctly either.

Try to answer the questions in the link I posted above so that we get a better idea.
