read the main site, and get him to a herp vet, no such thing as a turtle cold, it's a sign of disease in most cases

It's more likely a sign of RI (respiratory infection) which left untreated can be life threatening for him. In the mean time bump the water temp up a few degrees (80) which will kick start his natural immune system. Call and get him an appointment for a herp vet as soon as you can.

Does he have any other symptoms? Read the health section under the main site for more info on RI.

Well the vet couldn't find anything wrong as far as RI but he said that it could be the beginning so he gave him a shot and did all the regular check up, haha the funniest thing was when the doc sat him on the table and turned the light on him, he stretched out his legs, and head as if he was basking and he kind of moves his legs or twitches them when he basks ans the doc said that was normal. I had been moving the room around and changing the place of a few things and I had been sneezing, I told the doc and he said that could be the cause of the turtle, I never knew turts can have allergies, Guess we learn something new everyday!!
