My smaller female (Chimpy) is acting a little sluggish. I had not fed them in a bit because I needed to make a new batch of turtle jello food. When I made the food I did not wait for it to completely freeze to feed them some and I think I used slightly too much gelatin.
I fed Chimpy a piece bigger than usual and she ate the whole stick. Some ended up coming back up and she ate it. I could see she had eaten a too big piece and she was acting a little wierd from that point on. I saw she was acting weird today (not swimming over, sleeping on the bottom at a weird time) and fed her much smaller pieces. She ate it but even a little came back up somewhat (she ate it anyway) almost like something may be blocking her pathway.
After that she went back to the bottom. WHen I go to the tank she stays on the bottom and looks at me.
I have raised the temp (usually 75 degrees) to 77-78. I hope she doesn't have a big gelatin stick stuck inside.
Should I go to a vet because something may be blocked?
