i rescued two F RES.
they were with me for 2 days with out a filter but i changed the water multiple times a day. also no basking spot but i took them out to exercise and get sun multiple times a day

the person i got them from kept them in a sink outside idk for how long or if they were in water the whole time before that we dont know where they came from she found them in her backyard after some neighbors moved

now they hav a temporary H.O.T filter 60g. it was all i could afford. a canister filter fluval 100g+ i am getting with 2 weeks most definately.
now they have a basking dock i made with flat rocks, heat lamp and UVB light both around 10-12 inches away from basking dock. the UVB is 5.0

when i recieved them their shells looking like they were cracking i brought one in to petco with me and a lady told me they are just shedding and started picking it off. she said shedding is normal

ok so i was looking my turtle over today and i noticed she had a white spot. i kept looking and found a cpl other ones in the same area also some like needle point holes on the bottom of her shell, also red blotchy spots on both turtles, also i think even 2 blk dots here are pics.

i cant tell if it is shell rot. im so stressed i have so much going on right now ive been crying im worried i dont know what to do. this is the last thing i need but the first thing im taking care of. them not suffering is my priority, money right now is tight i cant afford a vet. esp if im getting the canister filter ASAP.

is this shell rot ?
can i do any home remedies?
if they got it before i had them now that i have everything will it just go away?
could i have caused this?
can a turtle die from this?
can humans get sick from this?
will the bacteria live in the tank forever?
could it be from their diet?

please anyone have any insight/advice on this? i dont want my turtles to suffer

the yellow is "shedding" from what the petco lady said they had and its like raised like dead skin those arent the white spots
the red is the white spots and there is no shell on them and i can see the thickness of the shell on the sides. but its not deep at all
the white is the black spots
the blue is the needle hole looking hole i found on turbo
the purple are the red blotches

P.s sry had to use cell cam. my dog ate my digital cam.

It's hard to tell from those pics but it's probably not shell rot. Do those white spots feel rough?

they are pitted. they arent raised, but its so slightly how pitted they are. when completely dry they are the whitest. is there any way its a scar? i smelled it just now on turbo, he only has like 2 spots like that and i didnt smell anything,

ive been looking up things on google as well, i just thought id ask people that have experience RES, does it sound like im doing everything ok so far? ive never seen them eat veggies but they have bokchoy and mustard greens in their water and anarchis just floating in there they hide underneath it, the water is very clear.

i gave them tuna twice yesterday and saw them eat for the first time. also an earthworm "big reds" turbo ate a whole one and just bit at another one, leela ate 1/4 of the earth worm. thats all ive seen them eat ever, i have reptomin and veggies when i try to feed them that they turn around and try to climb out of their feeding container

Most likely it's a small breach in the shell and the white is a small bone layer. As long as it's not getting bigger, it should be fine.

The red tint on the plastron (bottom shell)... not always a symptom of something, but it could be that the basking area was abrasive or it could be an indication of quick growth.

I can't tell anything from the pics regarding the pits on the plastron. This could be a small injury... as long as it is clean, firm and does not get larger, it should be OK.

The carapace (top shell), is a little bumpy and can use a good shed, and as I mentioned before might have a small bit of bone layer showing.
