Since I got my new 20 gallon long tank last night and set it up, I have not seen my little 2month old 1.5 inch turtle named Ike go in the water. And when I put him in the water he just scurries back to the backing dock. The water is the same temp at 78 degrees. Nothing has changed except tank size and where the tank is in my room. I am just a little worried that he may be sick, he is still quick and not lethargic at all, and hes holding his head up high(as in not sinking toward the dock like sick turts do). Does anyone have any idea of why my little Ike wants nothing to do with the water?

Isn't this the turtle that just had part of this tail bitten off? He have something wrong with him resulting from that. Also I hope the two turtles aren't still in the same tank?

I think so. New tank too, so it might just need a little adjustment to the new pad :)
