Urgent Care :: should i be worried?

hello
i sent some pics from my Tank yesterday that i wanted to wash some algae from the tank so i put my RES in a spare tank
i had to stay 1 day so the chlorine goes away but my turtle made his water dirty as soon as i put him in the spare tank so he was 1 day n the dirty water
today i saw he is closing one of his eyes , now i put him back to the main tank but his eye is still closed....should i be worried?
note:my RES had eyes problem long time ago and still seems his eyes are so sensible

It could be the chlorine. It should get better after a few hours, but I'd rather just keep the turtle out of the water during the water change (if there is a safe area).

Yeah most likely the chlorine.
If he does not open it in a day or two try some turtle eye drops.

I think you kept him out of the new water for a day for the chlorine to evaporate, yes? If it's chlorine in your water then it should be gone, unless you have a lot of water. But- if your water has chloramine in it, that won't evaporate and needs a water conditioner to percolate it out of the water.

If his eyes are sensitive I'd say watch him, keep him warm and if it doesn't clear up then treat it. Was the spare tank colder than your main tank?

Reptisafe is a great product to take all of the bad stuff out of the water.

Well you could call your county water supply and ask if they use chlorine or chloramine. May have to go through a few people, depending on who they have answering the phone. Or, you can fill a clear container- like glass- hold it up and look at it real good. Chloramine has a slight color to it, I can't remember if it's green or blue right now but I heard that somewhere. If you're already using a conditioner it should take both out anyway.

Yeah i do use a conditioner but my water in the tank evaporates and i have to refill the tank a little bit every 3-4 days and i was trying to find out what i could do to not use the conditioner.

If it's chlorine let it sit open in a container for about a day and the chlorine will evaporate. Honestly, i don't use any conditioner when i change only a little bit. i probably should but they haven't shown any signs of being bothered by it.
