i have a turtle for about 5 months and all i have is a small tank but it looks like my turtle is doing fine without all the equipment so im not exactly sure if i absolutely need them and if i 100% need them could you guys plz post a link to a website that has the items i need TYVM!!! (btw i love it how my turtle seems to follow my finger its so cute :D :D :D )

u 100% need them. They can do a short period of time without them. But they wont be happy and healthy. Which will cause them to get sick and die sooner. (and they cant follow ur finger)
personally i like petdiscounters.com their stuffs are cheaper than most other stores.

You need a Basking area, a UVB Light, NO Gravel on the bottom of the tank. Make the water as high as you can without chance of escape. get a Filter for sure, and a heater is something you need aswell.

for the tank should i just get a 50 gallon one or buy new ones as it grows up? and are these supplies in common pet stores?

In the interest of saving money down the line, if you can afford a larger tank now that's the way to go. A heat bulb and a uvb bulb are absolutely essential. He'll also need a basking spot. A place where he can climb out of the water and dry off under the lamp.

how many watt should the UVB bulb and heat bulb be or does it not matter how many watts it is?
