this turtle is for my friend ...and we dont know whats the problem with the turtle...he just took it today

I would say that is a case of shell rot from not being able to completely exit the water and dry off. If the damage is only on the bottom that is, I can't see the top of his shell. I would give him plenty of calcium supplement(cuttlebone AND powder food) get him a UVB light or replace the one you got to be safe, and make sure that the basking area allows him to get completely out of the water and dry off. You might have to put him in a container under a light at the right temp for a little while daily to let him dry out.

I SEE on top its not like this but still there are some weird things....i wish it ws mine so i take it to vet......

thats really what needs to happen, make him take it to the vet but if he just wont, do the above stuff, maybe someone else will come along and give you some more suggestions but that is what I have always heard was treatment for shell rot. Know that they shed pieces of shell and that could be what you see on the top but the bottom definitely looks like shell rot to me.

It does look like rot or some type of infection. Some areas do look like they are healing or have healed.

Do those areas smell?
Is that area soft?
Can you clean it?

If you can, take a new toothbrush and scrub with clean, warm water and some diluted betadine or chlorhexidine. Let it dry and check the pits...

Is it hard or soft around the area?
Does the turtle react when you go over these areas?
